One of the best parts of my job as a photographer is I get to take my own kids pictures when ever I want! It's been two years since the last time they got their picture taken because I "thought" they still looked the same! Well it was a rude awakening when I realized that my boys are growing up way too fast and they look a lot older since their last session! My oldest son just turned 11 and he's made the biggest change to me! I wanted to cry as I sat and edited them because he is starting to look like a pre teen. Aaahhh! My younger son is 8 1/2. Last time I took his pictures he still had his baby teeth so he looks so much older with his new smile! So learn from me, as a mom, not to wait to get your children's pictures taken. You can't go back in time and it's so wonderful to look back and see how they've grown and changed through the years!
